Travel Journal

 It was time again to make my Summer Travel Journal. Our summer trips involve a lot of golf courses. I don't golf, so I like to draw and paint while I wait. Most of the time I take a sketch book, but this year I decided to make my own. I covered a sketch book, watercolor book and some graph paper with Brushed patterned paper and then bound them in a piece of leather I picked up at Michaels. It is almost to pretty to use!! I gathered up a few other things to decorate with like washi tape, metal flowers and page flags.
I also picked up a few things from the Target Dollar spot to add with it.

 Below you can see that I made a charm from one of the CTMH metal flowers by using my crop-o-dial to punch a hole in the metal. Love that tool

 I used the ARC system from Staples to create a goal journal for 2015. I am a big fan of the ARC system because 1) I am left handed and that means I can take our the pages to write at a better angle for me 2) I can create my own pages using the ARC punch to add in where ever I want.  Below you can see that I used the stamps and Project Life grid cards to make some inserts.  As I use the planner I can move these around. Also I will show you updates as the year progresses.

Create Journal

I signed a new team member this week and I made this for her!! I love to shower my new team members with gifts when they sign up to make them feel welcome. I used a sketch book I found at the dollar store (a long time ago) for the base of the book, see below.  For the butterfly I added some thick gold embossing powder on the edges. I was inspired by a journal I saw here.

By now you all know I have a thing for note pads or any kind of journals. This is one of the composition books cut in half. If you would like more info or to see what I am talking about see this older post here.
For the trim on this notebook I used some of CTMH's burlap ribbon and a scrap of old jeans that I had in my stash.

Holiday lists

For this years Holiday Planner I decided to go with something more simple and plain.  My idea is that I can use this note pad past Christmas and on into the winter. I used the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge to cut the stamp frame and the cute snowmen stamp.
The inside is very plain, just some pattern paper over the notepad label.

Here is a journal I made for a new downline to help her on her way to success! I used some of the great CTMH canvas stickers to jazz up the front and this chipboard tag.

Little Journal

This past weekend was my last free weekend for a while. I spent most of the weekend getting cought up on all my classes, display boards and swaps through July. It feels really good to be all cought up. Untill I get pictures of everything I may be a little MIA from the blog.
I also made some graduation cards and wedding cards, I am going to hold off showing those till I get them mailed out.

Now for the project-I made this little mini book using the A tulip stamp set. The great thing about the stamp set is that it is $7.95!

Bold Colors with Kraft Cardstock

While at my local scrapbook store last week I saw a piece of paper that caught my eye. It was kraft cardstock with strawberries all over it. I made a mental note of how it looked, and then when I got home I went to work. CTMH kraft cardstock takes ink really well!!
