These will be my Easter gifts for all the kiddos in my life this year! A simple wrap or card around a box of tic tacs. I found these cute pink ones that matched the Penelope line from CTMH, I hope I can find them again!

It's all about the Treat containers

I have some treat containers to show you! For starters look at those Peeps in the mini egg crate!! Don't they look too good to eat? I just love this! I found the egg crate at hobby lobby and then I used the Penelope collection from CTMH to decorate it!
This is the smallest, cutest milk jug ever! I also found it at hobby lobby. I added a few images and some candy and it's so fun!!

Balloon Animal Party

So my creative mojo was flowing when I picked up the February Stamp set! These little guys are so cute. I started on a set of cute invitation tags. These will be great tucked in a handmade sleeve or hung on a real balloon!!
After I made the tags I created the cupcake toppers. I didn't have any cupcakes and I wasn't buying! I photo this at the 1st of Janary and I was off the sweets for my New Year's Goals.
So for my picture I used the last of the Christmas fudge. No worries I didn't eat any!!
To create them I just added a stamped and cut image on to a candy stick from the craft store. I added some colored twine from my stash!

A sweet little teepee

Along with the deer horns, teepee's have become trendy. Pinterest is full of pictures of teepee's that have flowers at the top. So that's where the inspiration for this project comes from.
For this card I used the arrow compliments as little charms on the card. I used my small hole punch to make a hole and then I tied a ribbon through them.
I had lots of creating this Be Brave Banner, although it didn't photograph well. These teepee's on the banner a little larger than the card, so I was able to cut the overlay part of the teepee on the cricut. I used the new thin cuts from CTMH to cut the flowers and leaves.
I added a few of the La Vie En Rose Compliments to the letters for accents.
Wouldn't this Be Brave be cute in a baby's room!

We are cute together

Here is a picture of my sister and I, you gotta love the selfie! This retro frame has been in my stash for a while now, it came from Michael's dollar bin. I thought it was the perfect frame to add some of these roses from the January SOTM.
This stamp is a 2 step stamp, so you don't have to color (unless you want to) you can just stamp the solid right over the top of the outline. This works for both the flowers and the leaves.
Also these sentiments are the best!! I love that font and I am using these in my up coming Valentine Class.

Faux Embroidery Letter Pendant

I am calling this Faux, because I don't know how to do embroidery. All I did was back stitch, so I don't think it really qualifies?
When I was thinking about different ideas for the Base & Bling line I thought about a necklace my grandmother wore all the time. It was much more detailed than what I made. It was oval and had flowers that were ribbon knots and leaves. It also has very tiny gold thread in it.
Here is a very simple idea for the pendants. I think these little initial pendants would make great bridesmaids gifts or how about a for a teenage girls slumber party?
Step 1. Stamp a letter on your fabric using a light colored ink (just dark enough to see)
Step 2.  Using Embroidery thread back stitch over your letter and tie off in the back.
Step 3. Cut a piece of scrap cardstock and quilt batting the same size as your pendant. Sandwich the batting between the fabric and the cardstock.
Step 4. Glue (I used fabric glue) the fabric piece by wrapping it around the cardstock and batting. This part is tricky. Getting the letter in the center is a challenge, but I figure it looks homemade if it's off just a bit, right?
Step 5. Glue your puffy letter to the pendant. I used liquid glass on 2 and Hot glue on one. The liquid glass worked fine, it just took a lot because the fabric was soaking up some of it.

Tips: After you wrap around, glue and dry trim off any excess fabric from the back so that it's not too bulky.
Use a popscicle stick to help fit the puffy letter into the pendant, this way you don't tear the fabric.

Base & Bling Necklaces and Lanyards from CTMH

This week I thought I would give you some ideas for the Base & Bling line from CTMH. I really think this line from CTMH is a genius addition to the product line. For starters it appeals to the jewelry love in all woman. Even me who is a very minimul jewelry person. This stuff is so darn cute!
Next it is so easy to make a pendant that the kids can do it! When kids make their own gifts they are proud, I think a pendant is better than the hand print wreath any day!
So of course there is the traditional necklace way to use them, but I thought this week I would show you a few other ideas. Starting with the Lanyard. Most teachers are now wearing them with their ID and maybe keys on them. What a great gift would this be for your kiddo's teacher this Christmas?

So I created my own CTMH style lanyard. I used one of the pendants and added a flat jewelry hook to the bottom using CTMH Liquid glass. This creates 2 loops on the pendant, now I can hook a lanyard to the top and the id to the bottom.

I a few more ideas to show you this week using the Base and Bling line.

Let's GIVE AWAY some Base and Bling!
