This month's project to benefit Operation Smile is a Folder with a pocket and Jr. legal note pad. This is a really simple pattern and is ideal for mass production! These would make great stocking stuffer, teacher gifts or hostess thank yous. They could be done up in holiday themes or made for a special some one.
The template will be available at http://www.kabrown63.etsy.com/. 100% of the money raised will be donated to Operation Smile. I will also have the one of the actual Folders for sale there as well.

What about the other folder, you ask? I will be giving it away to a random winner!

Yeehaw! Way to Go!

I love western stamps, especially this cowboy. Reminds me of my days at Clarendon College. (Yes, I also have a degree in Ranch and Feedlot management. You might even catch a picture of me on this site! But no laughing at my choice of clothing, I loved those bright yellow pants!)
This card also has stamp kissing. I used the fence stamp to kiss and twist on the Yeehaw.

A happy accident...

This cards is one of those that happened by mistake. I was running some CS through the cuttlebug, didn't pay close enough attention and ended up with 1/2 sheet embossed. Of course I' m not one to waste a good sheet to Twilight CS so I went with it.

Western Cards

This paper and these stamps from CTMH are just awesome! Most of you wouldn't know it, but I use to be a "cowgirl" right down to the Rockie jeans!! I still love everything associated with "western" culture-ranch life, horses, cows, and the thought of living in the middle of no where.
But you will never catch me in a pair of Rockies again!!!! For those of you in my area, this is an upcoming class-please check my schedule at http://www.kaaronbrown.myctmh.com/ for dates and times.
And just FYI-the size of these cards is 3 1/8 x 6 (and they fit perfect in these coin envelopes)

Cowboy boards

I pick these up in the dollar section of Target. I think the chalk board is my favorite. I am going to send one of them in for a contest.

Western Thank you

This one reminds me of a western shirt, maybe it's the blue and red. I really like how the sanding gives the illusion of being ink or paint. This is my new favorite embossing folder now.

Howdy

March has finally made it!! I think February was the longest month ever, it seemed to drag on and on. One of my new favorite things is Textured Cardstock and this card has Desert Sand Textured Cardstock on it!! I only have 1 sheet of it, so I am using it sparingly.
Want to win this card?
Take a guess by posting a comment how I did the star, and I will do a random drawing for the winner!! you must post by midnight tonight (central time)
Have a good weekend!
