Crusin 3x3 Cards

I am so glad April has arrived, this month I am featuring the Crusin paper pack from CTMH and it is one of my favorite packs in this catalog! For this cards I used the fun stamp Born to Ride! Now I am not a motorcycle person, but I can surly appreciate the manliness, the shinny chrome and the macho feel of hitting the rode!

Project Life 2012: Week 12 & 13

Both Week 12 and 13 were pretty un-eventful..... but I did manage to get some picture of everyday things on a few days. The picture below show a Saturday night game of Skip-Bo as well as a picture of our rain gauge. Because we need rain so badly I thought it would be a good idea to use the stamp I had with the Bible verse Psalm 118:24. I stamped it right over the picture using staz-on ink.
Week 13-I choose to combine my handwriting with some type writer text.

Fun with Felt

CTMH new felt rub-on are so cool! They are the most cool on a clear card like this one. You can see them from the outside and the inside. Pair these with the great motorcycle stamp and the metal studs and you have a great card!!

The Scenic Route

It's Road trip time! I love all the little images from the Adventure USA stamp set (and hey all you Canadians, there is one for you too! Adventure Canada). For this card I stamped the USA on the map paper cut it out and inked the edges. Just look at the bottle cap, so fun! I used a kitchen towel and pair of pliers to flatten it out just a bit to fit on the card. You can see below that chose to create some faux stamps using the CTMH Art Philosophy cricut cartridge. Those little images are just perfect for a faux stamp.
And for all my Texas friends, look at the map paper closely... those are defiantly Texas towns!!

Travel Games

Today I want to share with you a Stamp of the Month Project using April's Stamp You Are....
I decided it would be fun to create a travel game using the Crusin' Paper Pack. To start out with I used the Gypsy to max out the size of an envelope from the Art Philosophy cartridge. By using the Gypsy I can unlock the connection between the width and height and stretch the envelope. (I also did the same thing for the liner, just a bit smaller)
I used the sewing machine to stitch up a channel for the pencils and notebook. I stamped the chipboard stars and attached them with foam tape for a 3d effect.
For the notebook I used the letters from the Crusin' paper pack to spell out "Travel Games" and attached those with foam tape as well.
