In addition on the top card I used the yellows and oranges to make some candle flames. I did this free hand and it really is very simple. To make your own flames:
1. Pick 2 colors the blend well together.
2. Paint the light color first in longer strokes.
3. Add the darker color over the top of the lighter color with shorter stokes at the bottom.
*using a dryer paint consistency will work best for this.

I haven't had a chance to use mine very much, but using the watercolors on flowers seem to be a terrific way to use them. I also like splattering the watercolors.
