Flag Photo Card

This week the challenge over at the Heart 2 Heart blog was to create a patriotic project. I choose to create a photo card. Last year at 4th of July I took several pictures of the flags at all of the events we attended. I am sending the card to the owners of that flag.

Cherry Covered Recipe Box

I have seen several of these of over the past few days, and had to give it a try from myself. I think it turned out really cute! (Just a note-my handle is not functional, the weight of the box and all the recipe cards is too heavy to hold it by that, but it sure is cute!)
Here you can see that I use a couple of buttons and some branches from the yard to create the cherries and stems.

Enjoy today

ETA:The Martha Stewart Doily came from Michaels-I looked and looked for them and almost missed them. They were hanging with the stickers and none of the doily was showing so they will be hard to spot at first. Here is a link to a picture of the packaging. Hope that helps you all!
I am finally getting caught up. Even though this week was a short week for me at work (Memorial day holiday on Monday) it sure felt like the longest week in history! I am glad to have today off for a little craft therapy!
