Tissue Paper Challenge:Mother's Day Paper Corsage

I read several of the Paper Crafts blog, they are full of great inspiration. Last week on the Moxie Fab blog, Cath issued a challenge to create a project using tissue paper. In honor of Mother's Day I thought I would make a corsage that Mom could wear to church on Sunday!

1st I cut a strip of tissue paper, and ran it through the cuttlebug using some flower die cuts.

I left the tissue paper folded and cut through several layers.

Next up I sewed some small black beads to the center of each flower.

Then I scrunched up several layers of the flowers to give them dimension.

Lastly I assembled the corsage on a paper Dollie. I added some leaves, a few loops of ribbon and a vintage looking key I found at Joann's. I added a couple of pins so Mom can attach it to her shirt.
