Spring Bird Nests

Don't they look yummy and festive?

Spring Bird Nest

1 cup of butterscotch chips

1/2 cup light corn syrup

1/3 cup of sugar

1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

2 1/2 cup chow mein noodles

2 cups chex cereal, lightly crushed

malted eggs

combine butterscotch chips, syrup, peanut butter and sugar. Microwave in 30 second intervals till smooth. Stir mixture into noodles and cereal until coated. Quickly shape small balls into nests and add chocolate eggs. Makes about a dozen nests

I plan to give these to some friends down the street, I cut a nest and branch from my cricut. I added a stamped bird.

The ones that didn't fit in the sack I wrapped in plastic wrap and put them on one of my cake stands. I added a blow of extra eggs, cause they are best!

What a cute idea. My kids are really not into doing eggs anymore, maybe we can make these this year. Thanks for sharing.
