I don't have one but two favorites..any and all the swimming events and the gymnastics. I used to do both as a kid and loved them...never as good as these kids but it is amazing to watch.

My favorite has always been gymnastics- mainly the beam and floor- because of all the power the gymnast must use- both mentally and physically. I do have some balance but I could never muster up the courage/determination to do a flip on a 4" beam! Congrats on the hits! Jamey

My favorite is gymnastics. I was in gymnastics my whole life and now my boys are in it. It also goes back to the time when Mary Lou Retton scored the perfect 10 on her vault. It still gives me chills! GO USA!!!

The girls gymnastics has always been my favorite to watch - the stength and power in those little girls just amazaes me. And the dedication of all the Olympic athletes in general astounds me!
I do agree tho that the synchronized swimming is beautiful!

My favorite event has to be the mens 100 meter..wow but those are some FAST human beings. I just discovered your blog here (I have never even read a blog before). I was amazed at your artistic and creative talent. I enjoy it immensly. Keep it up!

Go USA!
I was born and raised in WV, so I naturally fell in love with women's gymnastics when Mary Lou was on the team. She grew up in Fairmont, WV. I had the shoes, the posters, and lots of newspaper articles about her.
I love watching the Men's Rings as part of the gymnastics. It amazes me how those guys can just hang there like a cross suspended from the rings. Their upper body strength blows me away....not bad to look at either, lol.

Great idea! And thinking about this made me realize that I'm much more of a Winter Olympics girl because I love the skiing and hockey. But from the summer I'd say it's the diving event. Watching the athletes use the small amount of time they have between the board and the water to do such beautiful movements is amazing.
My favorite summer olympic sport is the gymnastics. They are all so graceful (and I am not... my father picks on me, calling me "grace" all the time...) and its ethereal to watch them bound around. :)
Ooops....

I love the equestrian events! As a long time horse lover, the dressage event is just amazing stuff! Thanks!
Even though alot of people already said it, I have to be honest and say gymnastics. I watched the olympic gymnastics even when I was a small kid. I always wanted to be a gymnast!!
Thanks for everything Aaron, what a great friend you are turning out to be!!
Misty
I can't wait for the equestrian sports. I ride horses and the dressage riders are an inspiration!

Fav Olympic sport - hmmmmm. Well, for summer it's gymnastics, for winter it' ice skating - I love the dance!! (but the opening and closing ceremonies always make me warm and fuzzy!)
I too loved gymnastics because it made me feel their strenghth as they pounced onto the gymnastics floor. These tiny little creatures were able to just shake the floors and command the presence of everyone around them.
I always thought, hey I'm a girl, I could do that! I didn't, but when I was little, I liked having the option!
Salimasmith@frenchinaflash.com
I love love love the gymnastics... particularly the female... as a little girl I remember when Olga Korbet won, and of course Mary Luo Retton.

I absolutely LOVE the summer olympics.....I used to own 2 swimming pool retail stores so I have chlorinated water running through my veins....LOL
I so enjoy watching the gymnastics because it's truly amazing that human bodies can be so limber. :-)
WOW!!!! 20,000 hits. That is awesome. I am not surprised. even if I am somewhat partial to you. My favorite event is also the sychronized swimming. "Water Carnival" was the big event in our little town. I have great memories of myself and of you and your sister swimming/dancing in the different acts. I remember you swimming in "Listen To The Falling Rain" and your sister dancing to "In the Jungle". What fun!! I also like the gymastics, the event where they use the ribbon. I think it is so graceful looking. I love your blog and enjoy reading everyone's comments about how creative you are. Keep up the great work.

My Favorite is Gymnastics. Ever since Mary Lou won gold I was in love with the sport. But admittedly I'm a junky I'll watch all the events and love all the little sniglets the news show about the athletes, that's the best part the stories of the people.

My favorite summer Olympics sport is the track events. I especially like the short distance races. It just amazes me how quick these athletes can run! I have always dreamed about running seriously (more distance than speed) but haven't quite gotten there yet. So when I watch the track events, I daydream.

Men's gymnastics sucks me into the TV for hours on end. I am just amazed at the strength and agility of these guys. The amount of training they go through is inspirational and makes me want to hit the gym a bit...but it's more enjoyable just watching TV...hahaha.
Congrats on the hit count!! =)

My favorite are the short distance running events (100, 200, 400 and 800 m races), as these are what I used to run and am overly impressed with their speed.
