Purple Halloween House Card
I found myself using the sticker collection from the Scaredy Cat line a lot this year. The colors were perfect and all of the images were so cute! It might be a little hard to tell in the photo but this haunted house is popped up on foam tape. It's one of my favorite things do with CTMH stickers and the reason is because the stickers are such a good quality and heavy weight! My time for removing the sticky part of the sticker is to keep some baby power around and just sprinkle the back with the power and it will remove all the stick-um! Plus your cards smells fresh!

Blessed Beyond Measure Card
What a fun Pumpkin Stamp this is. I really like the font of the word blesses and just how large the stamp is. It takes up a lot of room on the card and makes a great focal point. I finished off the card by adding a bow around the stem and some glitter tape accents.

More Thank Yous
Turns out that when I made Thank you cards last week I didn't make quite enough-Here is another one. I stamped the berries with Sunset ink and then put a drop of liquid glass over the top to make them glassy. Liquid glass can alter the color sometimes, so my berries have a bit of a neon look, but it's OK by me!

Pin Ispired Treat Sack
I haven't done a Pin Inspired project in awhile. CTMH gave us some wonderful paper sacks this time around. And my mind just started turning with all the fun things they could be used for! For starters I made this bag tag and stapled it right to the sack. Now it's ready to add some fun treats or a card. I was also thinking how fun it would be to use as a party invitation! Just tuck the party details right in the bag.
Below you can see that I used a piece of velum that I punched out with a scallop punch. To get the decorative border I just used a small embossing stylus and drew the pattern by hand!
Happy Friday to you all-
See you next week with more projects!

Full of Thanks Cards
The 1st Friday in August the local Irrigation Association installed a Sprinkler System for the Therapeutic Riding Center here in town. I am the Secratary for the local association and I wanted to send out some Thank yous to the parts manufactures that donated all the supplies for the system.
I copied this card right from the Pathfinding Kit from CTMH. I really love that stamp in the kit and those sweet little feathers!

The Deer Horns
So I have been pretty infatuated lately with deer horns. I think I spent a whole hour on Pinterest last week looking all kinds of stuff. Pillows, tags, 3d cardboard things. So when I spotted this stamp from CTMH
I added it to my order. I decided to make it a Halloween card. I stamped on a piece of vintage book paper and then hand drew a spider. Pretty scary, huh?

Halloween Treat Toppers
One of my favorite things about Halloween is the treat giving. As papercrafters it gives us endless opportunities to make little treat gifts. These 2 pleated toppers are super fun and are great with these fun chocolates for Halloween I found at World Market.

Sweet Treats Halloween Card
Being a CTMH consultant comes with lots of perks! For starters I make a money selling what I love most, scrapbook supplies. Another perk is that I can buy one or all of the Hostess sets that would normally only be availiable when you held a home gathering. When I saw this apothecary jars stamp set I knew I would be making lots of cards using it. This Halloween card is the 1st of many.
Have you ever thought about making a money doing something you love. I would LOVE to have you on my team! You can read all about it here.
In case you were wondering this is what comes in the Cardmakers Starter Kit.

Pin Inspired Halloween Card
It's been awhile since I have posted a pin-inspired card. Here is my inspiration card. I really like the stickers that go with the Scaredy Cat line from CTMH, especially this little owl.
I really love the kraft color added to the orange, purple and black. Look for some more projects using this combo soon.
Have a wonderful weekend and come back next week!

Halloween Heads Card
I was inspired by one of my own cards for this project. Take a look at this card. I really liked the lined up pumpkins so when I saw this stamp-
Tick or Treat Sweets- in the catalog I thought it would be fun to recreate the card. All it really takes is masking.
Stamp your image on scrap paper or the Post-It. Cut out the image.
Stamp the image again onto your regular paper. Place the paper mask on top, covering the image completely to protect it as you stamp the second time.
Stamp again, positioning the image partially onto the mask. This second image will appear to be behind the first. Repeat, if you want additional images.
Do you see those tiny staples on the sides of the cards? Yep my new favorite tool from CTMH is the Mini Stapler!

If the broom fits card
So I have been having fun this month creating all these Halloween projects! Now I bet you are wondering about how I got a two colored image for that sweet little witch? It's really very easy.
1. Stamp your image in Black Ink and cut it out.
2. Stamp your image in Purple Ink and cut out the dress only.
3. Glue the dress over the top of the black dress. *note use strong adhesive like liquid glass* sometimes using dry adhesive over the top of a stamp image wont hold very well.
You wouldn't want her dress to fall off!!!

Water Color Technique Video
I just love the soft look of watercolor. When I saw the this flower stamp in the catalog I started dreaming up a watercolor card. After a few attempts I came ups with a pretty good technique for making a soft watercolor background using stamps and inks. Here is a video I made!
