Boyz Rule!

*Clear cards are hard to photograph!* This week the challenge at the Heart 2 Heart blog was an ABC challenge-projects must include alphabets, boy theme and chocolate. How fun is that? I decided to create a clear card using one of CTMH felt monsters for a Birthday card.
I didn't like the location of the rub-ons, so I used a piece of scotch tape to remove them and start over.....the picture sure does show the rub-on residue.

I used a tooth pick to create the stick to hold the sign.

This monster had som black to him, I dis-assembled him. Any ideas what to do with the leftover black parts.

{Boyz Rule Card Supplies}
Cardstock: Chocolate, Gypsy, Pear (Close to My Heart)
Pattern Paper: Olivia (Close to My Heart)
Ink: Chocolate (Close to My Heart)
Embellishments: felt accent monsters, white rub-ons, sanding kit, piercing tool, corner rounder, clear card (Close to My heart) tooth pick, hole punch (other) scallop punch (SU)

  1. okay how cute is this card? and who woulda thunk to remove a misplaced rub-on with scotch tape so clever! Thanks so much for playing with us this week at H2H.

  2. Darling card! I can't think of any way to use the leftover black pieces, but I bet you'll come up with something wonderful :)

  3. The card is cute but why even remove the black parts-- I think it would have worked with them on.
