because I need to go play Wii. The color challenge over at Jeanette Lyntons Blog was posted late in the afternoon yesterday, and I needed a quick and easy card.
Supplies from CTMH-Desert Sand CS, Olive CS, Olive ink, indian corn blue ink, Sunflower re-inker, olive button, desert sand marker, white crochet flower
I love the Wii. If you are considering it, get one! We also have ordered Wii Fit, but until it gets here I am using the Boxing as a workout! And let me tell you Wii Boxing is an awesome workout-I am sweating like crazy!
What a darling card! Glad you're having fun with the Wii!
ReplyDeleteVery cute card Aaron! And, if you box on Wii like my five-year-old grandson boxes, I'm sure you work up a sweat. Watching him is so darned funny. He's jumpin' and swingin' all over the place. What's not funny to the adult men around here is the fact that NO ONE can beat him. LOL.
ReplyDeleteWe LOVE our Wii...so much exercise...the kids get totally pooped out!
ReplyDeleteLove your sweet little card.
Super cute card! The dyed flower looks really great.
ReplyDeleteAnd, we got the Wii Fit about two months ago - it is wonderful, and you will love it. I do the workout 4 or 5 times a week, and have actually been losing a bit of weight.
So cute!! Love it.
ReplyDeleteI love this card! That crocheted flower looks wonderful! Before coming to your blog in reader, I just read and watched a little of a video by Andrea Walford where she dyed her white flower with water and reinker. Is that what you did? Fabulous idea!
ReplyDeleteTerrific work, Aaron!
Oops...no WII here, but you go and have fun sweating up a storm. LOL
ReplyDeleteI love your card Aaron. Did you crochet the flower OR like Jeanne said use reinker? I visit your blog daily and not sure if I am following you right now or not but I will if not. I bought 3 spools of crochet thread at the $1 store here in town (no not THE $1 store-no chain stores allowed cept grocery). So excited to do a few of my own. Love the Kraft Paper (I can't find anywhere) and flower...perfect card. Iona
ReplyDeleteCute card...short and sweet!
ReplyDeleteSo cute - gotta love quick and easy! We don't have a Wii yet but it sounds like fun!
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing that such a simple card could pack such a big punch! I love it!
ReplyDeleteIf you like the boxing workout...the Gold's Gym Cardio Workout for the Wii is a good one to get when you get tired of the other one.
