3x3 Card holder directions

Here are the supplies you need. This picture shows 3 business size envelopes, but you only need 2 for this size project

Start with cardstock 4 1/2" x 10 3/4". Score at 3 3/4", 4 "and 8 1/2".

Now you need to seal up your envelopes. (picture shows 3, but you only need 2 for this project.)

Score both envelopes at 4 3/4"

No cut off 1" from each end of the two envelopes. This will create 4 "pockets".

Here is where it gets a little tricky. Line the fold of the 2 envelopes with the back score mark on your cardstock. Remember the flap portion of the cardstock should be at the top. Here is a close up view. Below you will find a wide view showing the flap at the top.

Using the pivot point stapler (see the picture above for positioning) staple the envelopes to the card. If you don't have the stapler, this is a great reason to get. It can do wonderful things

Repeat the staple process on the other side.

Now you need to make the accordion holder. Using the super sticky double sided tape, put a small strip in the middle and to the bottom of each of the envelopes (front side) You will also need one strip on the back of the last envelope to hold it to the cardstock.

Here is what the finished project looks like.

Lastly add magnets to the flap and the base for closure. I really like these super thin ones, and they are very strong. Decorate and fill with 3 x 3 cards. (I would not try to put more than 8 cards at a time in it)
