I always need Birthday cards and Lollydoodle paper and colors are great for Birthday cards. I used the Feathers Stamp set. At first I wasn't really loving the feather trend, but I really have been enjoying this stamp with the Lollydoodle colors- Get yours here.
Have a great weekend!

You're the Best
A simple card that went together in just a few minutes. Cutting with the Artiste Cartridge made all the shapes a breeze to stamp on.

Lollydoodle Project Life cards
I had just a few bits of paper left from my Lollydoodle paper pack so I created some project life cards. I used some blank PL grid cards as my base. I really like how they turned out! I think they will look great in my album in the future.

You Mak me a happy Camper
More of my favorite stamp! That bottom ruffle is washi tape and I have a little tip for making your own washi tape ruffle. Attach the washi tape to a piece of copy paper and then pleat. The copy paper is light weight and doesn't add bulk to the washi tape making it easy to ruffle.
I thought I would give a Lucy trailer update- In the last few weeks we have moved her to her permanent home. We removed an old deck from our backyard installed a concrete pad and a putting green. I am also going to have lots of potted flowers and an herb garden out there. I will update with better pictures in the spring when we plant! (excuse the grainy cellphone pic)

Multi Colored Feathers
I have to admit I am jumping on the feather train! At first I wasn't sure, but now I am loving all things feather. I cut this gable box on the cricut using the Artiste cartridge from Close to my Heart and then I used sponge daubers and markers to color the feathers from the Feathers stamp set.

Just Because Owl mini cards
I am making lots of these little mini cards this year. I like to send little gifts for Birthdays and all the ladies on my list are getting mini cards for their birthday this year. I do mostly 3x3s, but I found some envelopes in my stash that are 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 so I thought I would use those up as well!

Maya Angelou quote card
I am still making lots of cards for my co-worker. She lost her house to a fire and needs to thank people all the time. This card has a quote on it from Maya Angelou and I think it is perfect for a Thank you note.

Flower Power
For this card I used Liquid glass in the center of the flower- It gives the flower a glass look as well as a 3D effect. The inside says "May your day blossom into something special, Happy Birthday"

This card was inspired by this card that I pinned on Pinterest. I will be using this as a Birthday card because I think the tag that says First Class Fun is great for a Birthday!

When you see a project on pinterest you never know if it will be a #fail. This one happened to work! Project Life 2014: Week 5 & Week 6
Week 5 only had 3 photos, but the story was a nice long one. I used lots of cork accents for this page. I also created a shaker pocket. Once I had every think the way I wanted it I added some sequins and wooden letters to the 4x4 pocket. I ran the page protector through my sewing machine and closed off the pocket. That lets the pieces float freely in the pocket but not fall out.
Week 6 had lots of photos. Below you can see that I started out with a scratch pad and sketched out how I was going to layout the page because I had lots of photos. It also helps for me to make sure I print and include all the photos possible. I used the PL winter cards since the whole week was about cold weather.
