Hot Chocolate Blocks

 I am in full Christmas gift mode. I made these Hot Chocolate blocks, with a recipe on the back and I still need more to go!!

 I paired them with a set of measuring spoons for a simple and very affordable gift.

Ladies in Hats

These sweet little ladies in watercolor are from my summer art class. We first sketched images and then we turned those into watercolor.
I found most of my images on Pinterest.

I don't have much papercrafting art to show you right now. After stamp camp and catching up on my art class lessons I just haven't made much. I hope to get back at it soon, but don't be alarmed if my posts are sparse for awhile. I just need time to regroup, get over winter slump.

Blessings Board

In my art class we made a Blessings Board. What is a Blessings board you ask? It is an artful way of displaying things that make you happy, your blessings. I uses a large canvas and then covered it with some admit one tickets. After I covered the entire canvas with the tickets I then painted over it. I strung some elastic string very tight around it can hold all my blessings. I chose to use red as my base color so that I can see all my blessing from Christmas to Valentines day.

Merry Christmas to All

This little gift tag is created on a scrap of muslin that I painted with gesso. I cut the car and tree free hand and then used mod podge to attach it all.

The Soup Block

I have been taking an online art class and LOVING it. We painted these 2x4 wood scraps with a kitchen scene and recipe. I gave mine as a gift over the weekend and it was a huge hit! If you are intrested in the class you can find all the info here on Yes and Amen.
