Love and Be Loved
Feeling blue? Why yes I am!!! I feel like crafting in shades of Blue!
There is a lot going on on this card-1st the glitter borders-I used the back side of the Kraft color ready borders and added blue Martha Stewart glitter to them.
2nd-I stamped a chipboard heart with the doily stamp from the Simple Memories set and then inked it with a sponge.
Last up that key-I found a package of those flat back keys at Joann's Fabric in the clearance section for .25 cents!!

Convention Artwork
This year we made 3 different project-this 1st project is from the closing crop. It is a Mini album made from the new Kraft cards! I finished all of the album during the crop and added photos when I got home. I also added the cute Mickey Mouse Keychain that I picked up in the hotel gift shop.
This is the new Memory game cube-so cut and the possibilities are endless. Look for more of these in the future!

Convention Highlights
My favorite time of the year!! Convention, for CTMH consultants it's a lot like Christmas in July!! This year for sure, with the big announcement being that CTMH is partnering with Provo Craft for our very own cartridge!!
This year we were at Disneyland, and it was awesome, especially for a Texas girl who had been living in over 100 degree days for the past month-sometimes I was down right cold in California!!
By far my favorite part of Disney was the word of color!! If you go it is a must see!
And of course riding the tea cups!!
So now there is lots of creating to get ready for the next few months-for some artwork from Convention next week!

House Keeping!
Some of you have already noticed, I have been doing some clean up on the ol' blog. If you read in a blog reader be sure to head over and check out the new design and new header(100% inspired by Tresa Black's creativity)
Also I added a link on the left side to a Class Calendar-As the current MyCTMH shopping sites are phased out I wanted a place where those of you looking for my upcoming class could see it all at a glance!
It's still a work in progress, so you may see a few changes here and there along the way.
Have a great rest of your weekend!

CTMH Operation Smile Project
Did you miss me??
Well I am back from convention and my mind is spinning. I will have more on that next week. I am still not caught up on laundry, work or much of anything, but I did want to get some art up here for you. Again this year I was asked by CTMH to create a project for Operation Smile. This is my mini notebook set. In the next few posts I will show you all the books as well, but lets start with how I created the holder.
I used some chipboard pieces and masking tape to construct the holder. I then covered it with paper, distressed it, sprayed it with ink and sanded it.
I used some clear glass beads for the feet and I hot glued them on.
Here I used some layered flowers and buttons to create the accent.
I used some color ready craft boarders on the edges for a nice finished look.
I proudly say thanks to Laura C. for the purchase of this item. (it raised enough to pay for 1/2 of a life changing operation)

Where dreams come true!!!
I am headed out today for Disneyland and CTMH Convention-
I will *try* to update from my phone. (also on FB, so look for me there)
I will be back on Sunday, but it may take a few days for me to recover, but I will have some things to show you when I get back that I have been keeping under wraps as well as all the news from Convention!
See ya in a week or so!

Having a whale of a time
Isn't this whale the cutest? I finally found time to get some ink on him and I am glad that I did!
I used a combo of blue cardstocks and I pulled some blue pattern paper from a couple of different lines from Close to My Heart! One of the great things about CTMH is that the colors are the same, no matter what paper pack!
This card was to be for Friday's post, but blogger was giving me such a fit-here it is early!
