Lucky you!
I recently got the Gypsy to go along with my cricut. One of the reason I got the Gypsy was for a FREE cartridge that was retired. Tags, Bags, Boxes and More. I cut this cute little box and added a wire handle. Filled it with some yummy chocolate treats, and now I have a cute little gifty to give someone special.
I am headed out of town today, but I will be back on Monday! Have a great weekend!

more green and a book review
This green trim has been around my craft room for a very long time, in fact I think I bought it almost 6 years ago when I started with Close to My Heart. I have pulled it out on lots of occasions, and only ever used it one other time. You can see that here.
I cut the shamrocks with my cricut-FYI I am really starting to love that machine and have even figured out a few tricks with it.

This book was a great read, I love when everything works out at the end. This is really a story of all the women in a family, who are all in the food industry. One in particular has broken away from the rest of the family to start on her own. She is have a ruff time of it, all while her daughter (who is VERY pregnant) goes away to be with her husband who has been very badly injured in the war. On top of her daughter being away and pregnant she is also keeping a step-grand daughter who has issues of her own. In the middle of all of this an old crush returns in her life. He turns out to be wonderful and oh so romantic!! One of the best things about the book is at the end of the chapters there are recipes, good ones. If you like to make bread then you will enjoy them even more. I tried a few and they were hits!

seeing green...
It's that time, time to start on the St. Patricks day cards. Here for the next while you will be seeing lots of green. I also wanted to tell you that I will also be using several of Jeanette Lyntons Valentine's cards as inspiration for my work. I really liked all the cards she featured, but had already finished all of my Valentine cards for the year. So I thought I would see if I could re create her cards in a St. Patricks day theme. My card is based on this card.

CTMH journal
A gift for a new downline. I used the CTMH journal, if you don't have one or haven't seen one it's the best thing since sliced bread! I also used a great technique featured on Jeanette Lyntons blog. It's a lot of fun, give it a try.

Faux Envelope Video
After my last video ended up not be very clear on Youtube I decided to give my Iphone video a try. It makes a great video, problem is it doesn't fit on the tripod. So I had all rigged to the stand with rubber bands and foam tape. If any of you have a clue as to how to make a hands free video with the iphone, please let me know.
Isn't this little envelope cute? Below is a video showing how to make your very own envelope!

Pink and Black I Love you
This pink is even better with black embossing powder. The boldness of the thick black embossing power with the pink makes my heart skip a beat!
To get bold even looking images with black embossing powder do 1 of 2 things.
1. Stamp the image with black and then emboss over the top of it.
or
2. Stamp with Versamark and emboss with black. Stamp again with Versamark and emboss with black. So easy when you have clear stamps! This is my choice because the embossed are is thick and bold.

Pucker Up!
This week the challenge over at the Heart 2 Heart blog is Stamp KISSING! Now you know why the title is Pucker up! For my card I used the Kiss and Twist technique. And if you look close I used the Spray Pen from CTMH and a paper dollie to create a pattern on my cardstock using tulip re-inker.
I also added some Glitter glue to the center of the heart!
Here is how I did it-I used the heart and the little x that is for stitching from the CTMH set-So Lucky! I used Cotton Candy Ink and Black ink
I inked the heart in Cotton Candy and then "kissed" the little x to the heart using black ink. Before I pulled the stamp up a gave it a little twist! After I covered the whole heart in little x's I gave the stamp a quick huff of hot air (just breath some hot air on the stamp to moisten the ink) and then stamped it on my paper! There you have it. Be sure to head over the the Heart 2 Heart blog to see what all the Design team has made. And I will be back with one more project for you as a guest designer for the Heart 2 Heart blog!

Valentine Treat Pocket, Video Tutorial and Etsy Kits
I have a really fun and easy project for you! I need a few Valentine treats to hand out to a few friends and family-I came up with great project, and just for you I made a video!
(It looks really grainy to me, but I am working on that. I think it may be Youtube, because the video I created it a clear as it could be)
Also-I made a few kits for this project! All the supplies you need to make 3 Sucker pockets of your very own. You can find them here in my Etsy Store!

Vintage Images BD card
I need a few "man" birthday cards for this month and thought it would be the perfect time to use the Sketch from the Heart 2 Heart blog. I like all the "vintage" images and they work well for a manly card. I also like that a girlish paper like Wings comes with a bold pattern that will work for a less girly projects.

Woohoo! Valentine's Day
Woohoo, are you ready for a special day dedicated to LOVE? It's my favorite holiday to make cards for, you know cause it involves pink! I was trying to use up some paper before I cut into the new stuff I got, but that never really goes my way. Out with the old and in with the NEW!
I cut that owl with my cricut and the Hoot n' Holler cartridge. Don't you just love a sparkly owl?
