and that pink couch! I don't think I ever met anyone who really had a pick couch. I have seen them on TV or movies. It would never work in my house.

A set of Mushrooms
This card is so easy. I know lots of paper crafters who shy away from sewing, but it really easy if you sew crooked on purpose!! This card is for the Color me Monday challenge over at Jeanette Lyntons Blog. Be sure to go by and check out her great projects. She made a wonderful home decor item and some great cards with the little houses stamp set.

Hello little dragonfly...
What a fun sketch this week for Unscripted Sketches! I got creative yesterday and add lots of stuff to this card. One of my favorite things lately is to use pattern in unlikely combos. For example I used the CTMH Grace pattern paper and added Garden Green CS and Garden green felt.
Be sure to go by Unscripted Sketches and check out all the samples for this sketch.
Supplies from CTMH- Grace pattern paper, Garden Green CS, Cocoa brads, Cocoa ink, Felt dragonfly, colonial white ribbon, colonial white floss, sanding kit, for every occasion stamp set

My Grandmother's Couch
I kid you not, the color of this couch is the exact color of my grandmother's couch. Green. It was in the same place forever, I sure because it was so heavy. I remember it well, because for years it was also in my sisters house(also in the same place forever).
My grandmother had a style for bold colors and could always make something match, sorta like these red pillows.
This is my card for this weeks Color me Monday Challenge. Be sure to go by Jeanette's Blog and see all of her really nice projects with the color combo.
For the circle pillow I used a scrap chipboard circle with a brad through it. I also used the piercing tool to add a few lines to it. The stamp set comes with a oval circle, that I stretched out on the block to create the rug. One of the many benefits of clear unmounted stamps is the ability to reshape them.

a rainbow of color
Sometimes I look through all my pattern paper, and don't find what I am looking for. When that happens I love to use stamps to create my own pattern paper. And by using the same stamp it's easy to create a fun and simple card.

Miss U
Ever since I discovered letter stamps, I have neglected letter stickers. For this card I used white letter stickers and added my own color ink to them. I used intense color at the top of the letter sticker and then faded down, leaving the bottom white. I also used white ink for distressing.

Bling! Bling!
After I made this card, there was glitter EVERYWHERE, and I mean everywhere! It was even on poor little Dixie the pug. I tried to get a good photo, but the glitter on the vase still doesn't show well.
For this project I added a glob of liquid glass to the flowers and the vase and then spread it out with a paint brush. Then I covered it with glitter.
